Ever wondered why you are there and I am here? Why you occupy that particular piece of real estate?
I dont mean the land you inherited bought or built on but why and how you came to be in this moment at this place.....
By design by chance by luck? Here is a really interesting take on your life.... If today was your last day on earth and you had 24 hrs left what would you do? Would you keep on doing what you normally do , chances are you wouldn't , you see most of us are living in a dulled out secondary state of existence...
Working to pay the bills because well you have to work right ? You gotta pay the bills and the more I earn the more I can borrow Yippeee The more I can buy The more I can Pay off the MORE I can have an so on ...
But here is the deal that we make , we all have dreams , we all have creative thoughts and we all have ideas just waiting to be given air and sunlight , for them to see and be seen ,
so whats stopping you?....
Not enough time not enough money , the feeling everyone else is better stronger faster smarter, it happens to everyone else but me and so on..... and so we accept the secondary life , that is we put all our ideas since we have had as kids on hold and tuck em away under the rug in the garage and we take on the responsible life , the life we think we are supposed to live.
There has always been a trend for men and women in & around their forties to go on a spending spree , a massive holiday or have that Midlife Crisis , problem is it usually born from depression and existing in a deep & unfulfilled life that we reach out in desperation rather than in education and generally it all falls into the I tried and it didn't work so its not for me basket ahhh..... so why bother!!!
Life is a journey of ups downs and sideways , it is supposed to be Fully Lived!!!
It is supposed to Frighten the living daylights out of us as well as deeply sustain our souls and our spirit to a point of exhausting Love ,laughter and living outside of which we ever thought humanly possible.
So here is the point , if you don't feel like you need a holiday and if today was your last on earth and you would pretty much do the same thing you would every other day Congratulations!!! You are living in sync with your hearts desire , you haven't made it but you are well on you way to living a life worthy of your calling.
If , however you are working to pay for that allusive holiday , looking forward to 530pm every afternoon and Friday just can't come around fast enough then ask your self this very question....
What would I do if today was my last? would I be at peace or would I leave unfinished ?
The life we would live if today was the last day on earth , the life we have dreamed of since conception , the life if we knew it would all just work out is the LIFE WE HAVE BEEN CALLED TO LIVE!!!!!!!!!!
So please go live it !!!!!, Dream it!!!! , Action it!!!! and Be it!!! Take a risk, write that book, song that song , build that boat , company or business that you have dreamed of. I am not saying it will all work out and you will be rich famous or otherwise but you will LIVE!!!
